Searching the perfect artistic tools
How is it that the best creative tools are the ones we forget are there? The ones that become an integrated organ of our creative process more than a tool? The best tools for the artist are the ones that help us get into the creative flow, and don’t let us fall out again.
Finding a perfect easel is not easy for the emerging artist - having to balance ergonomic versatility, longevity and cost. The vast number of existing easels are more a variety of configurations over the same easel categories, making compromises har to avoid.

What if there was a way to combine the versatility of the convertible easels, the compactness of plein air easels, the simplicity of lyre easels and solidity of H frame easels?

Grøde is aiming to build a full range of art making support equipment, made to support the emerging artist throughout the whole creative process - from idea to finished piece of art.
Based in Norway, the products will be developed and produced with care, based in Norway, by creatives for creatives.
